Hi,

Are you sure the card is getting recognized at startup. What does dmesg
say? Here is what I get with the same card on my IIcx:

ae0 at nubus0: address 00:00:94:61:3d:e5, type MacCon Ethernet, 32k mem.

What do you get from a 'netstat -i' ? Again, here is mine:

bullwinkle# netstat -i
Name Mtu Network Address Ipkts Ierrs Opkts Oerrs
ae0 1500 <Link> 0.0.94.61.3d.e5 22810 0 14252 0
ae0 1500 202.233.42 bullwinkle 22810 0 14252 0
ppp0* 1500 <Link> 0 0 0 0
ppp1* 1500 <Link> 0 0 0 0
lo0 32768 <Link> 178 0 178 0
lo0 32768 127 localhost 178 0 178 0
sl0* 296 <Link> 0 0 0 0

My guess is that the "network is unreachable" means the interface is not
recognized or configured.
