Can't do that)-:  The board connects to the system through a PDS adaptor, 
which connects to the system via the 68020 and PMMU socket, so any 
chips that were in there before were pulled. The card was in the computer 
when I bought it, so I don't have the old chips.   I've heared that this card 
does work with netbsd, but maybe not with the macII? 

I think I'll wait for support for the LC475/quadra 605.  

I heared that the 475 can be booted via a serial console. To do this, would I 
just plug in another computer running a terminal emulator to my 475's 
serial port, and then tell the booter to 'boot serial console'? I've never 
tried a serial console boot so i'm not quite sure how its done.
