Right after I sent the message entitled PPP PROBLEMS!!!!
HEEEEELLLLPPPP!!!!! I got it to work...

All I did was delete ncs> ppp in the connect script....

Amazing how one line of text can do so much, isn't it?

Now PPP IS working just peachy
