Subject: New Kernel: aaarrrggghhh!

When I boot with the GENERIC-17 or -16 kernels, everything works fine
until I get to white screen and get "[preserving (some six-digit number)
bytes of netbsd symbol table]". Then I see the cursor under that and
everything seems to lock up. (There might have been some disk activity a
little while after that... I don't remember.) What's wrong?

I am running a Quadra 700, 20 MB RAM, no additional VRAM. I used
Installer 1.1b to get the kernel onto my NetBSD partition.

Thanks for your help!
