Precisely what information would help? I'll write down the exact error
messages I get, and if you post the appropriate commands, I can break into
the debugger and see what's happening.

Yay! Well, I'll stick with it, though. As much as I can't use it for
anything yet, I'm starting to enjoy mucking about with NetBSD, so I'll hang
around until everything works. If you want any sort of testing done, I'll
be happy to donate time.

Now, off to get the new kernel...
