Subject: can't write to filesystem

I just got NetBSD up and running on my IIsi-- sort of. When it comes up
and fsck auto-runs, I get a message about:

/dev/rsd4a: Device not configured
fsck: RUN FSCK MANUALLY

sd4a is root and it's the only UNIX partition other than swap. Anyway fsck
stops at that point and it asks for my shell pathname or return for sh.
Once I'm in everything seems normal, except of course, / is mounted as
read-only.

My configuration is Mac IIsi, 17MB RAM, NetBSD on a dedicated 160MB HD
partitioned as 32MB swap and the rest 'A/UX root partition' (FWB HDT 1.6.3)
The following binaries were installed by MacBSD Installer 1.0:
netbsd11,base11,etc11,man11,comp11
I'm using version 1.9.4 of the Booter app.

Anyone who can tell me what I need to do?
TIA
