Aha!  I (don't) see the problem...

Looks like you may have gotten bitten by the "ite0 not configured" bug - 
I ran into this a while ago.  Happens on certain Macs (including IIci) 
and has to do with how to figure out what the physical address of the 
video frame buffer is.  

If this is the problem, then you need to get -current - the bug has been 
fixed by Scott Reynolds.
