Hi all,

I report booting on LC/Quadra630.  I can boot it.

Environments

CPU             68LC040                         68040
memory          20Mb                            36Mb
system          7.5.3                           7.5.5
monitor         Apple Multiscan 15' monitor

I made an external SCSI disk, Quantum 240LPS:
        Root & User Slice 0     176Mb
        Swap                     40mb
I installed NetBSD/mac68k-1.2 distribution with exception of kernel,
and test with the same disk on both Performa630 and Quadra630.

Results         Performa630                     Quadra630

kernel
netbsd.quadra   boot,
                but it makes core dump          not tested
                when the monitor is 832 x 624
                black&white mode.
                (other modes are not tested)

GENERIC-12      boot,                           boot without any trouble
                but it makes core dump          (832 x 624 256 color mode
                when the monitor is 832 x 624.  seems to be ok.)
                640 x 480 b&w mode is safe.

I found some problems;
        on both case, it cannot beep.
        it cannot turn power off by itself when shutdown.
        time seems correct, but error message appears.

Quadra630 has "Apple Ethernet CS 10/T card", but it is not recognized.

X or dt are not tested.

Are there anyone who can use ethernet cards on such a machine?
Please tell me what card is workable.
