I just finished installing g77 (it seems to be working). I got the sources
(gcc-2.7.2.tar.gz and g77-0.5.18.tar.gz) from ftp://prep.ai.mit.edu/pub/gnu/
It did take some time to install (you have to rebuild gcc) but it is well-
documented. I don't think that there is any other fortran compiler available.
