what are you using to install the driver? could it be flaking out when

personally i don't trust excessive mac software when booting into netbsd.
it's prolly not causing the problem, but the zip software sure can't be 
helping.  try it extensions off.

coulda fooled me.  i do initially have to fsck the disk, because it 
complains, but once through and it runs just fine.  that's a mactv, v1.2, 
generic-9, though, YMMV.
booting from a zip on scsi 6 (sd2a, with a 20SC external on sd1a; and if 
that's not enough to bug the hell out of it...).
