A note for all:
I just put together the HFS utils package on my linux machine at work and 
they're beautiful!  I really wanted to thank everyone who worked on 
them.  I especially like the xforms tcl/tk interface.  It worked 
successfully to format a Mac floppy on a PC drive.  :)  Happy happy!
