I still get the same errore after downloading the file again "invalid
compressed data format violated 1
  I took the file direcly from netbsd.org I downloade it as a binary and
saved as gzip file  I tried also to used macgzip  after chabging the name
of the file
as base.12.tar.gzip but it didn't work it start uncompressing but it stoped
with an errore message this is not a gzip file
