Recent kernels, when used w/ Booter 1.9.3b3 (or 1.9.3 if it's out),
have an option to try to protect us from LocalTalk problems. It's in
the Serial Ports... dialog. Basically it sets the baud rate low enough to
do no harm (I hope). Unfortunately I can't test it as I'm nolonger on a
LocalTalk net. If the kernel reports "Shielding from LocalTalk" when
zstty01 gets found, then you've turned it on and the kernel supports it.
