I have a quantum Lightning 730 which is less than 6 months old and now
causes fsck to *dump core* because of excessive disk corruption. I've
had problems with it under -current and under NFS_32. I don't have a
video card in the machine as of right now (for interupt-conflict
reasons) and therefore can't use it with NFS_22 which is supposedly the
only current way to "remedy" the problem (but which panics on boot with
"Can't relocate video" under my current video-card-less setup). I
should be getting an Apple "Toby" video card this wknd and will be
testing under NFS_22, probably after *reformatting yet again* (for the
4th time). Fun fun...
The drive was fine under 1.1.
I sure hope its fixed soon cause its damn annoying.
I wish there was some way I could help out.
