Not sure what you mean... newfs on a pentium creates a filesystem that
has stuff (like the magic number, I think, along with more important
things) stored in little-endian format. FTPing the filesystem image to
the Mac won't fix the byte ordering.
And I did ftp it to the Mac... the miniroot image has to be accessible
from the Mac in order to boot from it.
