I have placed an archive containing:
- a 1MB miniroot containing NetBSD-1.1-era binaries
- a copy of Booter1.9 modified to accept 8MB miniroots
- a copy of the kernel I run, NFS_22
on ftp://ftp.eskimo.com/u/w/wormey/netbsd/netbsd-test.sit.hqx
This is the setup I've used to boot my C610; undoubtedly, all components
of the archive could stand updating...

Faith is the quality that enables you to eat blackberry jam on a picnic
without looking to see whether the seeds move.
Contrary to popular belief, Unix is user friendly.
It just happens to be selective about who it makes friends with.
Everything you know is wrong!
