Here are another tips:

1. Add these lines to $HOME/.Xdefaults or $HOME/.Xresources if you have
   normal (i.e., 1 button) mouse:

*Scrollbar.translations: #override \n\
    <Btn1Down>:   StartScroll(Continuous) MoveThumb() NotifyThumb() \n\
    <Btn1Motion>: MoveThumb() NotifyThumb()

2. Add these lines to $HOME/.xinitrc if you have Apple keyboard II and
   you want to swap ESC and ` keys.

xmodmap -e "keycode 50 = grave"
xmodmap -e "keycode 53 = Escape"
xmodmap -e "keysym grave = grave asciitilde"
