Well, after having discussed my prospects with MacBSD on my PowerBook,
I decided to give it a go with the latest kernels. Here are some
results:

Using the GENERIC and GENERIC #67 from Steve Allen, the machine froze
during startup at:

mrg: Not setting up egret.
mrg: ADB interrupts enabled

Then, I tried using the awesome new intvidtest kernel, but got the
exact same result:

mrg: Not setting up egret.
mrg: ADB interrupts enabled

With the PowerBook 550c kernel, however, it seemed to startup
sucessfully, but then I got the same message over and over again in an
infinite loop:

PM Error: unknown PM command:ffffff9c #:02
00009c2c00000000000000000000000

That's about it. If any of the kernel developers would like the
bootlogs generated by Booter 1.9.3b3, please let me know and I will
forward it to you.
