If you mean by "another option" that you want to use command+arrow key
as middle and right mouse buttons, sorry you cannot do this unless you
modify the kernel code and rebuild it.  It's hardcoded in the adb
driver.  Look into arch/mac68k/dev/adb{.c,sys.c,sysasm.s} files.
