Huuh....Wow - excellent work.

Sure. Perhaps you remember that I'm using an LCII. Well, ADBTEST.132 is
the first kernel which allowed me to hit a key on the keyboard and give
me some type of feedback on the screen! Better than that, now in single
user mode seems to work all fine! I could do usual things like a 'ls',
remount the root_device for read-write and edit files with vi. Even the
arrow-keys are working, just the keyboard layout is US-type, but that's
another game...

In Multi-User mode the things are somewhat more strange: Sometimes
typing works fine, sometimes not. The key-repeat-rate seems to be very
high. If I hold down a key for a while I think I can see the cursor
flicker, but no letters appear.

Next I'll try to disable the unused stuff in multi-user-mode to come
nearer to single user mode. Perhaps it's possible to build the new
kernels now without the cross-compiler, anyway debugging will be a lot
easier now...

so long, Markus
