Is your Centris networked via the builtin Ether?  This unexpected trap
thing may be Ethernet interrupts, though I wouldn't bet more than 2c.

I hear NFS over SLIP is torturously slow.  Sorry, but it doesn't sound
much like a fun (I know what you mean by "just for fun" ;-)

Last I heard, NetBSD had some trouble handling NuBus interrupts on
Centris and Quadras.  I hope that SONIC will have been supported by
the time interrupt handling on Centris/Quadras is resolved.
