[ my first attempt at sending this seemed to fail, so... ]

Greetings all,

There is a new version of the ADBTEST kernel located at:
http://www.microserve.com/~jpw/adb.html

This version now supports the "II" type of ADB hardware. This includes
the SE/30, II, IIx, IIcx, IIci. These models should work almost as well
as the MRG kernels (i.e. those from eskimo or puma), except for a few
things which are noted on the web page.

In addition, it turns out that the Centris 610/650, Quadra 610/650, Quadra
700, and Quadra 800 also use this type of ADB hardware.

On my Quadra 610 at work, I was able to boot the kernel from MacOS. It
recognized the ADB devices but failed when it tried to mount the drives
because I don't have a real NetBSD drive on this system.

So, any brave souls out there who can give me feedback on how this kernel
works with some of their systems? Please look over the web page before
downloading. I now have a pretty good idea of what machines use what ADB
hardware, so if the notes on the web page mention that the kernel will
probably not work with your system, it may be a waste of time to download.

Thanks for the help,

	--John
