GENERIC #5 on puma works better on a classic2, at least it does on mine. 
I do have a maths c-pro fitted though, which might be why it works on 
mine but not others if that's the case.


Sources for the  GENERIC #5 kernel and/or the for_mays kernel would be a 
great help, though as they would probably form the basis for a local 
console kernel for the classic II. Therefore, I second the appeal above 
for the source code :)
