I got it to work when I plug in an external monitor...but in that case,
it starts on the internal monitor. You need to start dt, then cause it
to quit, then restart dt again to get it to actually function.

Having it (or X) function on any card driven by my Xceed Color 30 would
be neat though...as I don't really see the utility of plugging in a big
monitor if it can't be used. :)

Hum...

I ran dt for more than a year on an SE/30 with and without an external
monitor until I switched to X11.
The problems I recall with dt 1.1.3:

1) Cursor keys were unusable because of the digraph support
( ~ was interpreted as part of a digraph). I simply '#if 0'ed the stuff
(ask for details, I'm not at home now). What was that digraph stuff good for,
anyway?

2) The common scrollback buffer was too small for use with a portrait monitor.
dt would start, display an error message and immediately after erase the
screen :-(
Increasing the # of lines of the scrollback buffer to 100 did it for me.

3) Switching screens (ctrl-cmd-1..5) never worked for me.
