You can edit the files in single-user mode.  All you have to do is mount the
filesystems read-write:

mount -w /

will probably do it.  Then use vi to edit rc or rc.local (whichever one
starts syslogdand timed) and comment out the offending lines with a #.
Some of these daemons are configured in netstart, so you might want to edit
that one as well.
