I'm sure you can export a cdrom filesystem, but there are some caveats.  In
addition to the note about single filesystems, I suspect that ordering is
important.  Doesn't the cdrom need to be mounted before the filesystem can
be exported?  If it isn't then has NFS already grabbed the wrong inode for
that filesystem's root?

When you do a mount Unix does "something special" with the inode for the
mount point directory.  Does that "something special" affect the inode
itself, or does it only affect what inode you get when you look at the
mount point?
