Thanks to everyone who responded to my question on getting X to run. It was in 
fact a problem with library paths. Now that it's been remedied, everything works
as it should. Also, I apologize for posting a question that is answered in the 
FAQ, I hadn't found it yet. Now, on to bigger and better things, like getting my
ppp connection to work :). Thanks again.
