That's a little bit disturbing.  Considering that that's supposed to be 
the specialized stuff for NetBSD only....  That sounds like a bug they
should fix; i.e. changing it shouldn't cause problems for other people,
as I doubt anybody but NetBSD people use make neb, certainly noone who 
compiles PC Pine under DOS... (assuming I interpret that correctly).
