I have a Mac II with TFB video (set to 256 grays, on the Apple Monochrome 
display), the 1.1_ALPHA kernel, and everything else is from the 1.0 release. My
X11 binaries are the X.11Mar95 files. I installed them in /usr/X11R6/*. I put 
the "ldconfig /usr/X11R6/lib" line in rc.local, and with all this I get the 
following from both xinit and startx:

ld.so: warning: libm.so.0.0: minor version >= 1 expected, using it anyway
ld.so: Undefined symbol "__sys_errlist" in X:X

Giving up.
xinit: Interrupted system call (errno 4): unable to connect to X server
xinit: No such process (errno 3): Server error.

Any help appreciated...
