Hmm...  OK.  The version I had, you couldn't change partition types.
You could reformat your drive and choose a partitioning scheme with A/UX
partitions, but you couldn't add a new partition of an A/UX type.  It
would be good news if they've changed that.

It's still illegal, and the FAQ should not make that recommendation.
