There's also the toolchain issue.  I'm planning on diving into this a
little bit more when the NetBSD toolchain is updated in the near future.
I have played with it a little bit.

OpenBSD/m88k is not using ELF, and I'd like to start out with ELF so we
don't have to make a transition at some point.  A minor nit, sure, and
probably an excuse (along with my new twin sons)...  ;-)
