You probably have some other data, but based on data just from my TT030 
specifically it's not possible to conclude that a post-3.0 change was what 
caused the issue.  What I can say is this -- 1.6.1 runs solid under heavy 
load for long periods of time.  I haven't been able to get 2.x and up 
working due to install issues.  (These are just the issues that have been 
fixed over the last few weeks.)

I can test any versions on my setup, just point me to builds with some of 
the recent fixes (at minimum the installboot fix) and I'll report back with 
results.
