On the contrary, the entire rationale behind my request/inquiry into a 
Linux/Minix fs driver was only a compatability issue.  Sure, we can have 
MSDOS, but those systems cannot and do not support the UNIX filename 
conventions.

Furthermore, it make carrying programs a lot easier.  But then again, 
since I've got TOS, Linux and NetBSD, I've got a personal need to 
consolidate and increase the use of my meager disk resources.
