  I was trying to install NetBSD on one of these machines at work.  NetBSD
3 did not recognize the onboard Gigabit Ethernet, but 4.0 Beta did.

 I can't explain why your -current wouldn't see it.

Below is the dmesg output during boot.  I disable ehci to try and get the
USB keyboard to work, but it didn't help.
