Is it fair for me to expect SMP to work with 3.1_STABLE? Every time I've 
tried running GENERIC.MPACPI on a production machine, it locks solid after 
a few hours. This is on a variety of very difference machines (e.g. 
dual-core P4 S-ATA IBM, twin Xeon Dell SCSI blade).

Am I missing something?
