Just don't do it. Consider the 63 sectors a sacrifice to please an evil
entity living inside your computer.

My server's RAID is layed out like this:

total sectors: 487415808
[...]

d: 487415745         0     unused      0     0        # (Cyl.      0 -  30340*)
[...]

And NetBSD is the only operating system installed on that machine (and always
has been).
