Touchpad enabled, otherwise you see only the trackpoint. I have a T43
myself, but the T60 should be the same.

I don't know how the BIOS enables or disables the touchpad, but
when the touchpad is enabled you get the trackpoint events
embedded in special pass-through events.
When you want to switch between touchpad and trackpoint instead
of using both in parallel you'd need to filter out the "wrong"
events from the stream.
