Some of my SPARCs fit that description too.  I'm using a Voyager right
now, and the only noise is coming from the disk drive - run diskless,
it'd be totally silent.

The SLC and ELC are also fanless.

Of course, I'm sure you can also find plenty of fanless i386 machines,
too, but (in my experience, at least) X is far more of a headache on
i386 than it is on sparc (largely because sparc doesn't have to deal
with the mess that is peecee video, admittedly, but still).
