NetBSD 3.0.1 doesn't correctly sense the geometry of my brand new iPod and I 
can't figure out why.  Please help me.  My google-fu isn't strong enough to 
find the answer.

The iPod shows up as 7GB or so instead of 30GB.  mount, disklabel, and fdisk 
all hang when I ask them to do anything with the drive.

I wonder if this problem is related to the one I had recently with a brand new 
4GB SD card.  NetBSD wouldn't mount it until I did a low-level format using 
my Canon SD450 point'n'shoot.  I'm afraid to try a low-level format on my new 
iPod. :-(

The system is an AOpen XC Cube.  It has an AOpen UX4SG-1394 motherboard.

I compiled the kernel myself.  Mine differs from GENERIC only in that it has 
options               SHMMAXPGS=32768
