Hello,

Recent talk of RAID prompts me to ask: Is the Promise
PDC2037A (as seen on Asus A8V mainboards) a genuine hardware
RAID controller, or just an ATA host bus adaptor?  I don't
see anything from Promise listed under supported PCI RAID
controllers, but I do see Promise "Ultra33 and Ultra66"
mentioned as supporting bus master DMA.  Even if they're not
real RAID, are newer Promise chips likely to work as plain
ATA?
