Can you post some benchmark results of the RAID system?  I'm (going to) use
raidframe (RAID1) on SATA2 disks which seem to have a sustained speed of
63 MB/s (when fixing raidframe parity), but the performance of the raidframe
disk is only a fraction of this.  I'm wondering if a hardware RAID controller
makes a real difference here.
