I have tried to apply the patch now, but everything is not going as planned... 
First of all, do I need to use CVS to download the kernel-source (the patch 
uses the /cvsroot directory) - or is a symbolic link from /usr/src 
to /cvsroot good enough?

Second, when executing the patch it asks which file that should be patched - 
is this the kernel config or something entirely different?
