This depends how the original question was meant - I read it as running
pppoe with ne0 (or something else instead) as the ethernet interface.
In that context dhclient would not be a good idea to run.

As has been mentioned, we'd need "ifconfig -a" output to guess what
to substitute for ne0 in this case first.
