After installing the proper boot program, I restarted.  My rc.conf was 
overwritten (why is that?), but after I put rc_configured=YES, the file 
system mount continued to be mounted.  However, after each daemons was 
started, I get the following messages:
Shared object "libc.so.12" not found
Shared object "libutil.so.7" not found

and then finally:
init: getty repeating too quickly on port /dev/console, sleeping

However, I see that the shared objects are there when I go into /usr from 
the install system.  What's going on now?
