My fuzzy memory -- which is probably wrong. I've seen comments on
various lists about trouble with large-memory machines, and thought
that i386 with > 2GB was on the trouble list. I remembered discussion
of changing NKMEMPAGES as a workaround, and on googling for it only
found it on port-amd64. I tried it anyway.
Is it the case that 4 GB of RAM on i386 should just work fine (modulo
lack of PAE meaning the top 0.5 GB or so is wasted) with -current?
Once I insert Xen, I don't expect any domU to be over 1 GB.
