Neither, I'm running Linux on my home PC when using Skype. But even then
I couldn't make it work as the Linux client is mounting /home from my
NetBSD/i386 3.0 server (which has nfslocking=YES in rc.conf). The solution
was to move the .Skype directory to a local filesystem (ext3).

On my laptop with NetBSD/i386 3.99.x I'm running everything locally (FFSv2)
and I had no problems with Skype when I used it few months ago.
