Hello,

I'm using NetBSD 3.0 beta with an ASUS P5GD1-VM motherboard and I =20
have some problems to access devices (2 hard drives) plugged in the =20
secondary IDE connector of this card (called IDE1_PCI in the users =20
manual). Indeed, the secondary IDE informations don't appear in the =20
BIOS (but they're quickly displayed at boot time).

Here's my IDE config:
HD1: Primary IDE Master (boot netbsd)
HD2: Primary IDE Slave
HD3: Secondary IDE Master
HD4: Secondary IDE Slave

HD1 (/dev/wd0) and HD2 (/dev/wd1) are OK, but when I try to access /=20
dev/wd2 or /dev/wd3, I get:

root@termina# fdisk wd2
fdisk: /dev/rwd2d: Device not configured
root@termina# fdisk wd3
fdisk: /dev/rwd3d: Device not configured

Moreover, I noticed (in particular) these lines in the dmesg (the =20
entire dmesg is at the end of this mail):

pci5: i/o space, memory space enabled
Integrated Technology Express product 0x8211 (miscellaneous mass =20
storage, revision 0x11) at pci5 dev 3 function 0 not configured
*and*
piixide0: secondary channel configured to compatibility mode
piixide0: secondary channel ignored (disabled)
Intel 82801FB/FR SMBus Controller (SMBus serial bus, revision 0x03) =20
at pci0 dev 31 function 3 not configured

I don't really understand what it means, but I tried to access /dev/=20
pci* devices. pci0 to pci5 display:

root@termina# fdisk /dev/pci5
fdisk: DIOCGDEFLABEL: Inappropriate ioctl for device
fdisk: DIOCGDINFO: Inappropriate ioctl for device

pci6 and pci7 display:

root@termina# fdisk /dev/pci6
fdisk: /dev/pci6: Device not configured
root@termina# fdisk /dev/pci7
fdisk: /dev/pci7: Device not configured

Note that ITEIDE is present in my kernel:
iteide* at pci? dev ? function ? # IT Express IDE =20
controllers

I think my card is not supported yet, but I'm not sure...
If it isn't, will it be ? Else, any idea to make it work ? :)

Thanks in advance, and sorry for my bad english :]
