hi all--

was running rsync over ssh to a new 2.0.2 install.  i would initially 
blame the hardware, which is a bit old.  but this box passed 5 straight 
days of Solaris 10 x86 VTS testing when i was running Solaris recently.  I 
changed to netbsd to be able to use a PCI ATA card.

anyway, it was running fine in a long copy til last night when it crashed.
