It turned out that the GENERIC kernel that I was booting was too old for
the userland. The other kernels were all compiled for 686, which, of course,
wouldn't boot on a P200.
I booted from floppy and did an upgrade to 3.0 BETA. Seems to have worked
64 megs memory
