I have a Pentium 133 box with an Adaptec 2940 controller that I'm planning
to revive. I have a Quantum Fireball 3 gig disk that I want to stick in the
box, but it doesn't like tagged queueing.

What is the appropriate way to deal with this? It may not even be able to
install the OS.
